Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from Dashboard → Billing or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep full access until then. No further payments are taken after cancellation.
If you cancel and change your mind before the period ends, you can resume the subscription from the same page without re-entering payment details.
14-day cooling-off (consumers)
If you subscribed as a consumer (not on behalf of a business), you have 14 days from purchase to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Because access to the service begins immediately, you consent to immediate supply when subscribing. If you cancel within the cooling-off period we refund the price paid less a proportionate amount for the days of service already provided. If you have substantially consumed the service (for example, bulk exports or heavy AI usage), the deduction reflects that usage.
To exercise the cooling-off right, email admin@careersbar.com from your account email within 14 days of purchase.
Refunds outside the cooling-off period
Monthly plans: we do not refund partial months after the cooling-off period, except where required by law or where the service materially failed and we could not remedy it.
Annual plans: within 30 days of first purchase (not renewal) we refund pro-rata on request. After 30 days, annual fees are non-refundable but you can cancel future renewals.
Renewals: if you contact us within 7 days of an annual renewal charge and have not materially used the service since renewal, we refund the renewal in full.
Service failure: if the platform is materially unavailable due to our fault for an extended period, we will offer service credits or a proportionate refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or your service agreement.
Free trials & discounts
The 3-day free trial needs no payment card, so no charge ever arises from a trial. Promotional discounts apply to the price at checkout; refunds for discounted purchases are calculated on the amount actually paid.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are issued via Stripe to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days of approval. We will confirm by email when a refund is issued.
